The Research Center on China and International Relations
China and International Relations (CIR) was founded jointly by UIR and Denmark’s Aalborg University in 2012. The Director of the center is Professor Tao Jian, president of UIR and a renowned expert on international affairs; and the Executive Director is Professor Lin Hongyu, Dean of the Department of International Politics and a doctoral advisor. The center performs three major functions: (1) providing academic support for the two-year Master’s degree program offered jointly by the two universities;(2) serving as an academic exchange site for multinational and other advanced research projects; and(3) publishingthe bilingual (Mandarin/English) international academic journal, China and International Relations.
